1. Lay the watch face down on a soft cloth and cover the lugs with low-tack tape to protect the case.
2. Use a spring bar tool to compress the spring bar and lift the old strap out of the lugs.
3. Fit the spring bars into the new strap, seat one end in a lug hole, compress the other end and let it click into place.
4. Tug gently on each side to check that both spring bars are locked in.
