1. Lay the watch face-down on a soft cloth and cover the lugs with low-tack tape to protect the case.
2. Use a spring bar tool to compress the spring bar and release the current strap or bracelet.
3. Insert the spring bars into the ends of the new strap, compress one end, line it up with the lug hole and let it click in. Repeat on the other side.
4. Pull gently on each half to check it is locked in place.
5. Never open the case back. A strap change only involves the lugs.
